제목 Effect of Second Fillers onTransmission Properties ofUV-cured Epoxy Nanocomposites with Surface Modification
초록 Transmission properties of UV-curable polymer composites filled with exfoliated nanoclay was studied with modification of nanoclay surface and magnesium oxide(MgO) nanopowder. Epoxy modified carboxyl type oligomer and acrylate type monomer were used as UV-curable resin. Modified-nanoclay and MgO surface was performed using epoxy modified silicone oil and coupling agent. Due to the role of second filler (MgO) see that being improved in terms of permeability. Exfoliation of the nanoclay and MgO was confirmed by X-ray diffraction spectroscopy (XRD) and observed by high resolution transmission electron microscopy(HR-TEM). The composites observed using scanning electron microscope(SEM). Transmission properties as oxygen transmission rate (OTR) and water vapor transmission rate (WVTR) were measured by MOCON test. Surface Transmission properties are shown secondary filler-filled polymer composites better than polymer/filler composites .
