Peripheral nerve defect is also one of important clinical disease for many people because of the complicated treatment for these injuries. Among the several treatment, the research about scaffold that mimics ECM of nerve is more promising method for treatment because of limits of autograft. For successful nerve guidance, topographical and electrical cue are important in the scaffold. In this study, to give more definite guidance and direction, conductivity is only possessed on line pattern of scaffold. For conductive line pattern on scaffold, polycaprolactone(PCL) aligned fiber from electrospinning is coated with polypyrrole. Using the UV, polyethylene glycol(PEG) gelation is formed under the coated PCL aligned fiber. Only line pattern is coated with polypyrrole and formed on scaffold through some technizue including etching. It can give both electrical and topographical cues to nerve cells. In the future, PC12 cells will grow according to given direction from line pattern of scaffold. |
