초록 |
The purpose of this study evaluated the antibacterial characterization of poly(acrylic acid) (PAA) containing silver nanoparticle (AgNPs) prepared by electron beam Irradiation with increasing radiation. Silver nitrate (AgNO3) was dissolved in the distilled water (DIW), and PAA powder and hexane were stirred in the AgNO3 solution by using a mechanical stirrer and then irradiated by electron beam, to prepare silver nanoparticle in the PAA nanogel. The nanoparticles were characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDS). And The particle size and zeta-potential were confirmed by particle size analyzer (PSA). The antibacterial properties of the nanoparticles were evaluated by paper diffusion test and minimum inhibitory concentrations (MIC) against the Gram positive (staphylococcus aureus) as well as the Gram negative (Escherichia coli) bacteria. |
