Synthesis of Nano-sized Polystyrene Particles via Dispersion Polymerization using with polystyrene-block-poly(4-vinylpyridine) |
| 초록 |
The synthesis and application of nano-sized particles have attracted wide attention in recent years. The stable nano-sized spherical polymer particles were synthesized by dispersion polymerization of styrene with polystyrene-block-poly(4-vinylpyridine) copolymer [P(S-b-4VP)] in alcohol media. The nano-sized particles were obtained when the block copolymer concentrations increased from 2 to 20 wt% relative to the monomer and the average particle sizes decreased from 340 to 200 nm with increasing concentration of the block copolymer. |
