A study on the characteristics of MPPO/ABS/CNT/clay nanocomposites |

Modified PPO has been mainly used as electronic materials due to outstanding mechanical and thermal properties. For this reason, modified-PPO can be applied to electrical products. Recently, conductive carbon powders are added to modified-PPO to improve electrical properties of the semiconductor products. Also, polymer-clay nanocomposites have widely attracted attention for years due to enhanced mechanical and thermal properties of the polymers.In this study, polymer nanocomposites of MPPO/ABS/CNT/clay were prepared by melt compounding and properties of nanocomposites were measured using high-resistance meter, UTM, DSC and TEM. |
