In future industries such as electronics skin, curved display, Internet of Things (IoT), soft robotics, and interactive system, the stretchable electroluminescent device is expected to be the next generation of the light-emitting device. For example, unlike conventional flexible electroluminescent devices, additional deformations such as twisting and stretching are possible, so that even if the mechanical strain reaches over 100 %. With the simple operating structure of alternating-current electroluminescent device (ACEL), stable adhesion between light-emitting layer and electrode is important to operate device. Here, we demonstrated various kinds of hybrid electrodes (e.g. ionic conductor, metal flakes, and liquid metal) for ACEL, with stable adhesion between light-emitting layer and electrode. Also, it can operate on dynamic deformation without peeling over 100 %. |
