In-situ graphene oxide(GO) reduction and polyimide(PI) curing process was developed to make reduced GO-PI composite films. GO was functionalized by grafting 4,4'-ODA on its surface, which enhanced excellent dispersion in dianhydride BPDA and aromatic diamine 4,4’-ODA solution in DMAc and the binding force between polyimide and graphene oxide. Then the graphene oxide's nonreacted functional groups were reduced by 1,2-diiodoalkane during the imidization process. Thus prepared composite film showed the enhanced degree of reduction, mechanical properties, and barrier properties with low graphene oxide contents. |
