Recent several years, two-dimensional (2D) layered materials, such as boron nitride (BN), MoS2, and graphitic carbon nitride, have drawn more attention due to their more versatility, greater flexibility and better functionality with a wide range of potential applications. In particularly boron nitride nanosheets (BNNSs) derived from h-BN, which composed of sp2 bonded boron and nitrogen atoms. Researchers have found that BNNSs have an advantage over their bulk in various application areas such as sensors, catalysts, dielectric substrates, far-ultraviolet light emitting and high-performance electronic devices. In this work, we obtain mono-and few-layer BNNNs and modify their edge or surface by a simple chemical method. Meanwhile, we determine the characteristics of functionalized BNNSs via X-ray diffraction (XRD), Raman, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray photoelectron spectra (XPS) and their biological application via electrochemistry process. |
