제목 | Synthesis and characterization of Fluorene-Thiophene Based Copolymers for Thin Film Transistor |
초록 | Recently, it has been reported that the thin film tansistor (TFT) of a liquid-crystalline alternating copolymer, poly(9,9'-dioctylfluorene-alt-bithiophene), showed high mobility. We report here new alternating polyfluorene copolymers, poly(9,9'-bis(3.6-dioxaheptyl) fluorene-alt-bithiophene)(BDOHPFT2) and poly(9,9'-bis(3.6-dioxaheptyl)fluorene-alt-thieno[3,2-b]thiophene) (BDOHPFTT), synthesized by Suzuki coupling reaction. By introducing dioxaheptyl unit, the polymers could be easily packed and show the good adhesion of the films, resulting in the enhanced mobility. The synthesized polymers were characterized by 1H NMR, UV-vis spectroscopy, PL, XRD, GPC and DSC. The number-average molecular weights(Mn) of the polymers, BDOHPFT2, BDOHPFTT was 19000 and 10000 and the PL maximum emission peaks in film were at ca. 554nm and 523nm, respectively. Also, typical liqiud-crystalline (LC) characterizations were observed in DSC curve of polymers. Solution-processed TFTs of the copolymers were fabricated using bottom-contact geometry. The TFTs of the copolymers showed the typical p-channel field effect transistors(FET) characterisitics. Detailed synthesis and charcterization will be presentated. {image1} |
