제목 Synthesis and temperature dependence of photoluminescence in SiAlON type phosphors
초록 In recent years phosphors for white light-emitting diodes (LEDs), which can be excited by blue-light, were investigated extensively. Divalent rare-earth doped SiAlON type phosphors were also investigated and the bright warm-white LED lamp using it was demonstrated. In this work, fine powders of SiAlON type were synthesized from CaO-Al2O3-SiO2-Si3N4 system using an gas pressure sintering (GPS) equipment. The resulting fine SiAlON powders possessed high purity and uniform discrete particle morphology. The crystallinity, chemical composition, photoluminescence spectra and chromaticity of the phosphors were presented. And moreover, thermal stabilities of the prepared SiAlON phosphors were investigated in a temperature range from 25 to 200 °C.
