Aspect in Graphite Flakes obtained by Sonomechanical Method(top-down) |
초록 |
The commercial 100 mesh size particles of graphite flakes were broken using ultrasonic technique to obtain nano diamond or graphene. We used two types of ultrasonicator in this experiment. One is normal horn type ultrasonicator and the other one is plate type. Ultrasonic reacting time was carried out from 30 minutes to 120 minutes at the room temperature and the ultrasonic power was 1200W. The solution of ethylene alcohol of 99.9% was used without any surfactant. After sonochemical reaction, the morphology of the broken particles was observed by FE-SEM, AFM. The phases of graphite flakes were analysis by Raman spectroscopy combined with AFM. The surface area of the broken particles were determined by BET method, and the particle size was determined by laser particle analyze. |
