제목 Synthesis and Characterization of New Ladder like Poly(silsesquioxane) Containing Polyoxazoline Moieties in the Side Chains.
초록 We succeeded in the synthesis of new hybrid ladderlike poly(silsesquioxane) with polyoxazoline groups in the side chains. A reactive ladderlike poly(silsesquioxane) with pendant chloromethyl groups was used as an initiator for ring-opening polymerization of 2-methyl-2-oxazoline. The polymerization of 2-methyl-2-oxazoline was conducted with various feed ratios of 2-methyl-2-oxazoline to ladderlike poly(silsesquioxane). Their structures and thermal properties were investigated by H-NMR, IR, DSC, and TGA. The graft-shaped polymer consisting of a rigid-rod ladderlike poly(silsesquioxane) and hydrophilic poly(2-methyl-2-oxazoline) showed excellent thermal stability and good compatibility with commodity polymer.
