Preparation and Characterization of O-Carboxymethyl chitosan ion-complexed Ofloxacin for Drug delivery system |

OCMCh-ofloxacin(OCMChOflo) was prepared by ion-complex with OCMCh and ofloxacin for drug delivery system. The physicochemcal characterisitcs of OCMChOflo was investigated by FT-IR, 1H NMR. Particle size distribution and zeta potential of the OCMChOflo was determined using dynamic light scattering technique. Transmission electron microscopy(TEM) was also used to observe the morphology of the OCMChOflo. For a molecular weight measurement used gel permeation chromatograph(GPC). The release behaviors of OCMChOflo from this proposed delivery system in phosphate-buffered saline (PBS) solution at 37 °C were studied by UV. |
