제목 Synthesis of Amphiphilic Magnetic/Polymer Composite Nanoparticles via Sol-gel and Hydrosilation Techniques
초록 Superparamagnetic iron oxide nanoparticles are of critical importance in biomedical field due to their applications in MR imaging, magnetic aided drug delivery, bioassay and cell separation. Full utilization of the nanoparticles is, however, yet to be realized mainly because of their high surface energy that causes them to agglomerate, largely compromising their biomedical and magnetic properties. In this study, we seek to modify magnetite nanoparticles by covalently linking amphiphilic oligomers using hydrosilation and sol-gel chemistry. Amphiphilic molecules modified magnetite nanoparticles have great potential to be used both as MR image enhancer as well as drug delivery agents.
