제목 Ionically cross-linkable hyaluronate-based hydrogels for tissue engineering
초록 Hydrogels have been broadly used for tissue regeneration as they can be injected into the body in a minimal invasive manner. In this study, hyaluronate-based hydrogels were formed from RGD-alginate-grafted hyaluronate by ionic cross-linking with calcium ions. Viscoelastic properties of hyaluronate-based hydrogels were dependent on the degree of substitution of RGD-alginate. These hydrogels successfully regenerated cartilage tissues 6 weeks post-injection into the dorsal of mice, which was quantitatively confirmed by analysis of GAG content and expression levels of chondrogenic marker genes. Ionically cross-linkable hyaluronate-based hydrogels could be useful for many tissue engineering applications.
