Polyarylate(PAR) surfaces were pretreated by oxygen plasma to improve the hydrophilic property before depositing indium tin oxide(ITO) films. All experimental conditions were same except to plasma exposure time that was varied from 0 to 20 s. The effects according to the exposure time were identified using contact angles, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS), UV spectroscopy, and atomic force microscopy(AFM). The experimetal results showed water contact angle values from 51° to 8.3° for the range of 0 to 20s. |
