In this study, solid polymer electrolytes containing anion-trapping boron moieties and polysiloxane, which can lower glass transition temperature of the electrolyte, were fabricated. Boron moieties were incorporated in the polymer in a form of crosslinker, and the crosslinker was synthesized by the reaction between trimethyl borate and poly(ethylene glycol) methacrylate. Polysiloxane having thiol group was synthesized via sol-gel reaction between (3-mercaptopropyl)methyldimethoxysilane and (3-mercaptopropyl)trimethoxysilane. Allyl PEO was synthesized by the reaction between allyl bromide and poly(ethylene glycol) methyl ether. The solid polymer electrolytes were fabricated by UV-induced thiol-ene click reaction between thiol moieties of polysiloxane and carbon double bond of allyl PEO and boron crosslinker. Thermal properties and ionic conductivity of the prepared solid polymer electrolytes were measured. |
