The attachment of biomolecules is playing an important role in the development of biochip with high performance. When it is for biological detection, blocking non-specific interaction with biomolecules is more critical than function. In our previous study, we achieved highly effective stealthy polymer coating on SPR chip which prevent non-specific biomolecular adsorption with porous and gold-nanoparticle-hybridized structure. Here we applied this functional film to a new system. The polyelectrolyte multilayer films were coated on magnetic nanoparticles and consequently functionalized with antibodies and fluorescent labels. The results show a great sensitivity with high stability of these colloids in antigen detection application. We will also demonstrate some other application of this system in conjunction with microfluidic system. |
