제목 High-Performance Polymer Solar Cells Using Multipositional Silica-Coated Silver Nanoparticles
초록 Surface plasmons, that are coherent electron oscillations in the metal at the interface with the dielectric, can lead to strong light scattering with surface plasmon absorption and enhanced local electromagnetic fields. We demonstrate high-performance polymer solar cells using plasmonic effect of multi-positional silica-coated silver nanoparticles. The position of nanoparticles is critical for increasing light absorption from enhancement of electric field distribution. The device incorporating nanoparticles between hole transport layer and active layer achieve a power conversion efficiency of 8.92% and internal quantum efficiency of 95.2%. These device efficiencies are the highest values reported to date for plasmonic polymer solar cells using metal nanoparticles.
