Non-spherical particles exhibit different properties and behavior compared to conventional spherical ones, so lead to their wide use in various fields. Therefore, versatile and facile fabrication of non-spherical particles is important. In this presentation, we introduce a template-based method for fabricating microparticles that can control the size, shape, and material properties via harnessing oxygen inhibited polymerization. This is a method that not only can have the advantage of the existing template-based method, which can produce particles with high complexity depending on the shape of the template, but also overcomes the limitation of the template dependency. |
