Synthesis and Applications of Advanced Materials based on Silicon & Fluorine-Containing Compounds |

In recent years, much attention has been paid to advanced materials based on silicon & fluorine- containing compounds applicable to automotive, display device, fuel cell membrane, coatings for architecture, biocompatible materials, other environment applications, and etc. Recognizing the importance of advanced materials for high technology industry for continuing growth of Korean economy, Korean government launched the research program for development of advanced materials based on silicon & fluorine-containing compounds as one of the advanced materials R&D Programs in July of the year 2008. Its goal is the development of advanced materials base on the design, synthesis, characterization and their intelligent, processing driven by the needs of potential technological applications. In this presentation, we will introduce this research program in detail. |
