제목 Pioneering Multifunctional Graphenes for Applications in Energy, Environment, Memory and Sensing
초록 Graphene has been recognized as key element in recent nanotechnology and its unconventional potential in numerous functional nano-materials and -devices is continuously developed. In this presentation, I discuss the coupling of graphene to enhance the performance of multiple functions including energy conversion, environmental remediation, non-volatile memory, and biosensing. Graphene plasmonics via coupling with noble metals can be an alternative, but strong platform to overcome the limited field enhancement of neat graphene upon interaction with light. We discuss this benefit in multidisciplinary issues such as plasmonic photovoltaics and surface plasmon resonance sensing. Powerful solar fuel generation via water splitting and degradation of toxic chemicals are achieved by integrating tailored graphene into conventional photocatalysts. We also introduce our recent effort to control and improve the memory characteristics of resistive memory devices using charged graphene multilayers.
