제목 | Preparation and Characterization of Hexagonal Boron Nitride Nanosheets by low temperature calcination |
초록 | Since hexagonal boron nitride (h-BN) was discovered in 1840’s, h-BN has been studied widely because of its good physical and chemical properties. Especially, because of its high thermal conductivity, electrical resistivity, the stability at high temperature and low frictional resistance, h-BN has been used widely. Therefore h-BN has been used material for heat dissipation filler, high temperature lubricant additive and so on. Generally, h-BN has been synthesized by chemical vapor deposition (CVD) process. However, h-BN fabricated by CVD process has some problems such as high processing-cost of the products because of using a metallic catalyst, high temperature or ammonia. In this study, a simple synthesis method for increasing massive production cost-efficiency of h-BN nanosheets was investigated. The h-BN nanosheets were fabricated by relatively lower temperature calcination than CVD process. In addition, exfoliation of h-BN was optimized by using shear stress in solvent. The h-BN nanosheets were characterized by X-ray diffraction, transmission electron microscopy, scanning electron microscopy and atomic force microscopy. |
