Graphene is consisting of a single layer of carbon atoms. It has electrical conductivity due to sp² bonding and has excellent mechanical strength. Therefore, graphene based nanocomposite has excellent properties. However, aggregation phenomenon occurs when nanocomposite is formed. Therefore, the graphene oxide is modified to reduce the aggregation phenomenon. In this experiment, graphene oxide was modified so that it contains maleimide group. The nanocomposite was made of a polymer containing a furan group so as to have a self-healing ability through a heat-induced Diels-Alder reaction. A cinnamoyl chloride group was included in the polymer to enable self-healing by light stimulation as well as by thermal stimulation. The synthesized polymer was confirmed by NMR and the characteristics of the formed nanocomposite were analyzed by IR, DSC and the like. |
