Electrochemical actuator behavior of poly(vinyl alcohol)/poly(acrylic acid)/multi-walled carbon nanotubes composite hydrogels coated with polyaniline |
초록 |
Poly(vinyl alcohol)/poly(acrylic acid) hydrogels containing multi-walled carbon nanotubes(MWCNT) were prepared by radical polymerization and their electrochemical actuator characteristics were studied. The electrical and mechanical properties of the composite hydrogel increased as the content ofMWCNT increased. To improve the conductivity of hydrogel, the conducting polyaniline was coated by in situ polymerization.Electrochemical actuation was performed by cyclic voltammetry. The hydrogel showed stepwise bending behavior depending on the electric stimulus. These hydrogels can be applied to the artificial organ components. |
