Pluronic, PEO-PPO-PEO triblock copolymer, has been widely used as a biomedical material based on its stimuli-sensitive gelation behavior induced by thermal changes. However, for the wide ranges of commercial applications, additional stimuli responsive properties such as pH, light, UV or electric field will make pluronic even more attractive biomedical materials. In this study, we introduced various amine derivatives as pH-sensitive moieties at the end terminal hydroxyl groups of PEO-PPO-PEO triblock copolymer. pH-sensitivity were confirmed by test tube inverting method and rheometer. |
