제목 | Effect of the preparation method and nucleation pH on the Ni-MgO-Al2O3 catalyst for dry reforming of coke oven gas |
초록 | In this study, we haveoptimized the preparation method of Ni-MgO-Al2O3 catalystfor the dry reforming of methane (DRM) using coke oven. An appropriate preparationmethod was selected for considering mass production to commercialization. Catalystswere prepared by various methods, including co-precipitation, incipient wetnessimpregnation, hydrothermal, co-impregnation, and sequential impregnation. Amongthem, the co-precipitated catalyst showed the best DRM reaction performance. And then, the keyparameters of the method were further optimized. To investigate the effect of nucleationpH on physicochemical properties and catalytic performance of a Ni-MgO-Al2O3catalyst, the nucleation pH is systemically changed (nucleation pH = 8.5, 9.5,10.5, 11.5, 12.0, 12.5). Among the prepared catalysts, the co-precipitatedNi-MgO-Al2O3 (nucleation pH: was optimized as 12.0)catalysts exhibited the best performance for DRM reaction. |
