Fabrication of Large Area Inkjet Printed Organic Photovoltaic Modules |

Until now, a lot of effort to develop the large area organic photovoltaic cells has been attempted through the printing process. In the paper, we report the large area organic photovoltaic module having low series resistance was fabricated using inkjet printing process. We designed and fabricated consecutively connected OPV modules with variation of dimension and number of pixels. As a result, 2.1% of PCE can be obtained from inkjetted OPV module (100X100 mm2) using a mixture of P3HT and PCBM as a photoactive layer with increased a Voc of 10.2 V and a fill factor of 0.46 under illumination of 100 mW/cm2 of 1.5G simulated light. We will compare and discuss the performance of inkjetted OPV modules using various kinds of photoactive materials. |
