Adsorption Behaviors ofElemental Mercury by Copper Oxide-loaded Activated Carbons |
초록 |
In this study, the adsorption behaviors ofelemental mercury by copper oxide-loaded activated carbons have been investigated. The surface properties of the ACs studied have been characterized by using x-ray diffraction (XRD). The textural properties were studied by BET and D-R methods with N2/77 K adsorption isotherms. Experimental results showed the adsorption capacity of mercury was increased as the copper oxide loading. This was probably due to the introduction of copper on ACs led to an increase in the surface functionality. |
