제목 과당 추출을 위한 에멀젼형 액막기술의 개발
초록 Fructose is a neutral species in an aqueous solution. Other than ionic species, therefore, it is not easy to extract the neutral species in a reactive extraction system with various extractants well-known to us. Here, we have used the mixture of a boronic acid and a quarternary ammonium salt as its extractant, and then fructose could be extracted by emulsion liquid membranes by way of a tetrahedral extraction mechanism. We invetigated the effects of pHs of two external and internal aqueous solutions and concentration of the extractant on degree of extraction of fructose. The pH value of the external aqueous phase was still larger than that of the internal aqueous phase, which gave a higher driving force for extraction of fructose. With the help of the extraction mechanism, a hydroxide ion is transported from the external phase to the internal phase. An anion in the internal phase is transported vice versa.
Finally, we concluded that fructose could be successfully extracted in the emulsion liquid membrane system. In the near future, we will also apply the principle of the sugar extraction to the separation of fructose from the mixture of glucose and fructose.
