제목 Electron Beam Curing Process for Wind Turbine Blade
초록    Wind energy has attracted a great deal of attention as an alternative renewable energy sources. In the developments of the wind turbine system, how well designed the high efficiency wind blade and how reduced the wind blade fabrication time are important issues. Wind blade design can be optimized using a computer simulators based on the aerodynamic theory. But the almost wind blades are fabricated by hands using the glass fiber or carbon fiber reinforced plastic. This process takes long time to cure the matrix resins. This study describes the novel electron beam curing process to enhance the productivity for the wind turbine blade. The wind blade was designed with consideration of mechanical properties of electron beam cured CFRP for a 10 kW turbine system. We successfully reduced the wind blade curing time within 30 min by the electron beam curing technique. And this blade has more good mechanical properties better than conventional process blade.
