Biodegradable and amphiphilic triblock copolymers, used for the wall-materials for the encapsulation of skin active materials, were prepared by ring-opening polymerization of ε-caprolactone (ε-CL) and monomethoxy poly ethylene glycol (mPEG). The triblock copolymers were synthesized with varying the length of hydrophobic PCL moiety at the ratio of PEG to PCL, 1:0.5, 1:0.75, 1:1, and 1:1.25. The bulk properties of triblock copolymers were observed by using GPC, DSC, XRD, FT-IR, and Optical Microscopy. The characteristics of the PEG-PCL-PEG triblock copolymers as a wall material were confirmed by DLS and UV. (MOCIE, No. 10024160-2006-12) |
