In this study, the effect of Ce addition on activity and stability of titania supported transition metal oxide catalysts for wet oxidation of phenol was investigated. To investigate the effect of Ce addition, Ce was co-impregnated with the transition metal (Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, and Cu) oxide catalysts (5 wt% loading of each metal) by incipient wetness impregnation method. The activity and the mineralization selectivity of those catalysts were compared for wet oxidation of phenol. Also, the carbonaceous deposits on the catalyst surface were confirmed with TPO/MS and quantified with EA. |
