제목 Preparation of Poly(ethylene terephthalate)/ Calcium carbonate / Clay hybrid composites
초록 Polyethylene terephthalate is usually used as beverage containers due to its toughness, transparency, gas barrier properties. But it has a limitation of low heat distortion temperature (HDT) for hot filled bottle. HDT of PET/clay composites was improved through introducing clay in PET, but transparency of composites was significantly decreased due to irregular crystallization. In this work, we tried to introduce novel PET/clay/CaCO3(calcium carbonate) system to improve both HDT and transparency of composites. PET/clay/CaCO3 composites were prepared by twin extruder and characterized by DSC, PLM, TEM, TGA, TMA.
