Low temperature NH3-SCR performance of the Mn and Ce mixed oxide catalysts prepared via solvent deficient method |

Herein, we report the simple and robust synthesis of the Mn and Ce mixed oxide nanoparticles for the low temperature NH3-SCR. The physical mixing of the metal salt precursors via solvent deficient method for producing the high surface area metal oxide nanoparticles. The study is focused on using the different Mn salt precursors to prepare the Mn-Ce (Ce(NO3)3.6H2O) mixed oxide catalysts. All the catalysts are evaluated for the NO reduction performance with NH3 in the temperature range of 50-400 °C. The structural characterization of the catalyst are investigated by XRD, N2-physisorption and high resolution TEM analyses. Redox properties and acid characters of the catalyst are examined through H2-TPR and NH3-TPD, NH3-DRIFTS. |
