제목 Effect of purifying process of ZnS nanoparticles prepared by hydrothermal synthesis
초록  Zinc sulfide (ZnS) is an important II-VI semiconductor material with a wide direct band gap (Eg) of 3.68eV. It is well known that ZnS performs in two polymorphic forms, namely, the hexagonal (α, over 1024°C) phases and cubic (β, under 1024°C). ZnS has been studied for its wide applications, such as light-emitting diode (LEDs), flat panel devices, solid state solar window layers, phosphors, photoconductors and IR window/lens etc.

 It is most important for the applications to manufacture the hogh purity ZnS. Because it is a significant effect on the purity of the sample when the sintering. There are various method of ZnS synthesis such as LSS (Liquid-Solid-Solution) method, R.F.Sputter, MOCVD, Spray Pyrolysis method and Hydrothermal synthesis method. Among various synthetic techniques, hydrothermal synthesis is considered as one of the most convenient routines to synthesize mono-dispersed nanocrystals with controllable size and morphology.

In this study, we have prepared monodispersed ZnS nanoparticles by hydrothermal synthesis and then washed for several times. The powders were characterised by XRD, SEM, FT-IR techniques.
