NASICON(Natrium Super Ionic Conductor)-type compounds is of interest for application as a solid electrolyte material for batteries and sensors because of the high ionic conductivity. V doped NASICON type compound with the formula, Na3Zr2-yVySi2P1O12 (y = 0.2 ~ 1), was synthesized by typical ceramic route. The samples were calcined in the temperature range 700 ~ 900 ℃ with periods between 2 and 10h. Each powder were pressed into a pellet of 15 mm in diameter under 100 bar and sintered at 850 ~ 1100 ℃ with 2h. The samples were characterized by XRD, FTIR, and SEM. |
