제목 Synthesis of gold nanorods and injection into a bacteria.
초록 Gold nanorods (AuNRs) are used in various fields. For example, photothermaltherapy, bioassays, biomedical imaging, biosensing, drug delivery, etc. Thespecific properties of AuNRs is increase in interaction of photons with surfaceelectrons which give rise to a surface plasmon resonance (SPR) and theseproperties have been utilized in cancer therapy. Most AuNR synthesis isclassified into one of four categories: photochemical, seed-mediated, electrochemical,and template methods. Also, seedless protocol has been developed for smallernanorods and it was used in this experiment too. First of all, UV-vis spectraof gold nanorods measured values according to dopamine concentration were comparedsuch as 13, 45, 90 and 500mM. As a result, when it's 13mM of dopamineconcentration, uv peak is around 550-650nm and it was possible to measurearound 750-850nm of its uv peak when 45 and 90mM of dopamine concentration.
