Synthesis and Characterization of Graphene Oxide Nanosheets by Mechanochemical Process |

In this work, graphene oxide nanosheets were mechanochemically synthesized from graphite flakes by ball milling process. The microstalline characteristics were investigated by XRD and FT-Raman spectroscopy. The morphological properties were observed by SEM and TEM measurements. The textural properties were investigated by N2/77 K and vapor isotherms. From the results, it was found that both ball milling time and energy intensity had significant influenced on the degree of exfoliation and the number of graphene oxide layers. |
