Conventional Oxidative Coupling of Methane (OCM) process is occurred in CH4 and O2. In contrast, Chemical Looping Oxidative Coupling of Methane (CL-OCM) with nonoxiditive redox cycling requires CH4 and CO2 for reactor gas, separately in each redox cycle. This system requires effective catalyst that reacts both Methane and CO2. Mn/Na2WO4 doped silica is one of the promising catalysts for its reactivity and stability in conventional OCM. Mn/Na2WO4 doped silica is active for nonoxiditive CH4 reduction condition but little activity in CO2 oxidation. For solving its little activity in CO2 oxidation, replacing support material is needed. In this study, reactivity of Mn/Na2WO4 doped catalysts with various support materials were investigated using fixed-bed reactor and catalysts were compared with C2+ yield. |
