PEGylated contrast agents for cancer detection using magnetic resonance imaging |
| 초록 |
We report the successful fabrication of water soluble PEGylated contrast agent (PCA) for cancer detection using magnetic resonance (MR) imaging. PCA was fabricated and tested to accomplish phase transfer from organic to aqueous phase using monomethoxy polyethylene glycol-poly lactic acid amphiphilic block copolymers (mPEG-PLA) through the ring opening polymerization method. The chemical structures and the compositions of mPEG-PLA and PCA was demonstrated excellent colloidal stability in aqueous phase and high sensitivity under magnetic field. Furthermore, mPEG-PLA and PCA were exhibited sufficient cell viabilities and excellent cancer detection ability in an in vivo animal model. |
