제목 Star-shape poly(ethyleneglycol)-poly(N-isopropylacrylamide) block copolymer with a cyclotriphosphazene core prepared by atom transfer radical polymerization for K+ ion capture
초록 Hexahalocyclotriphosphazenes are versatile starting materials for the synthesis of multifunctional cyclic compounds. Halogen groups on phosphorus atoms are easily replaced with various nucleophiles to form reactive cyclotriphosphazenes. We prepared a star-shape hydrophilic PEG macroinitiator with a cyclotriphosphazene core and used for the atom transfer radical polymerization of N-isopropylacrylamide in DMF/water. The number-average and weight average molecular weights of the copolymer were 6100 and 6500, respectively. The LCST of the copolymer was 43 oC. Below the LCST the polymer molecules existed in water as extended coils and above the LCST they formed spherical micelles. The size of micelle was 300 - 500 nm by TEM and AFM images. Addition of NaCl salts made micelles broken. But KCl was added, micelles were surrounded with KCl salts.
