Poly(3-hydroxybutyrate-co-hydroxyvalerate) (PHBV) is a type of polyhydroxyalkanoate (PHA) that has attracted much industrial attention due to its good biodegradability, biocompatibility and thermoplasticity. Graphene Oxide is known as a material that has interesting electronic, thermal, and mechanical properties that are being explored for composites. Graphene oxide was synthesized by the modified Hummer’s method. In this study, we made biodegradable composite films with graphene oxide and poly(hydroxybutyrate-co-hydroxyvalerate) to increase thermal stability and mechanical properties. The nanocomposite film was characterized by XRD, FT-IR, TGA, SEM, TEM, etc. |
