제목 Controlled release of model drug from pH-sensitive hydrogel matrix containing temperature-sensitive microcapsules
초록 A novel drug delivery system (DDS), which consists of poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA)/poly(N-isopropylacrylamide) (PNIPAAm) hydrogel microspheres and poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA)/poly (acrylic acid) hydrogel matrix, was developed for prolonged and sustained controlled release. Various amounts of PVA/PNIPAAm microspheres were incorporated physically into pH-sensitive PVA/PAAc hydrogel matrix. The effect of temperature and pH on the swelling ratio and the response kinetics was also investigated to understand the smart propertiesof the composite hydrogel systems.
