제목 Application of the pH-sensitive hydrogel having difenoconazole on the pathogen prevention
초록 The effective release of active ingredients is needed in the agricultural industry due to both environmental and economical requirements. The blight was believed to be controlled effectively depending on the environmental pH. Therefore pH-sensitive hydrogel was applied as drug carrier for the control of blight. The pH-sensitive poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA)/poly(acrylic acid) (PAAc) hydrogel was prepared by free-radical polymerization. Swelling behavior of PVA/PAAc hydrogel was determined gravimetrically as a function of pH. The morphology variation of PVA/PAAc hydrogel was examined by scanning electron microscopy (SEM). Difenoconazole was selected as pesticide for the control of blight. PVA/PAAc hydrogel which was loaded with difenoconazole was studied for the pathogen prevention in the range of pH 7 to pH 10. The pathogen could be prevented more effectively in the higher pH range due to the higher release of difenoconazole.
