제목 "Numerical investigation on Li-ion batteries for high energy and power density"
초록 The electrode thickness is one of the most essential parameters thatinfluence the energy density of lithium-ion batteries in several application. Herein, we studied the influence of the electrode thicknessby investigating the rated capacity that is dependent on the electrode thicknessand C-rate using a pseudo-two-dimensional model-based simulation andexperimental results.  There is a difference in the capacity loss betweenthe experiment and simulation with increasing the C-rate. This difference inthe rated capacity can be attributed to the inhomogeneity within the cathode thatcaused by the mechanical cracks in the fabricated samples. Based on thesimulation and experimental analysis, we propose new insights on the completed uniformelectrode film for high-powder NCM622 cathodes to develop a practical fabricationmethod for a maximum capacity while maintain high energy and power density.
