제목 A Surface and Mechanical Interfacial Properties of Carbon Fiber reinforced Epoxy Matrix Composites
초록 In this work, anodic oxidation of carbon fibers was carried out to enhacnce the mechanical interfacial properties of carbon fibers-reinforced epoxy matrix composites. The 20% sulfuric, 20% nitric, 20% sulfuric/nitric(3:1), and 20% nitric/sulfuric(3:1) was used as electrolytes. The surface characteristics of the carbon fibers were studied by FT-IR, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and contact angle measurements. Also, the mechanical interfacial properties of the composites were studied with interlaminar shear strength (ILSS) and critical stress intensity factor (KIC).
