Preparation and Characterization of Poly(styrene sulfonic acid-co-(trimethoxysilyl) propyl methacrylate)-Grafted ETFE Membrane Prepared by a Simultaneous Irradiation Method |
초록 |
In this study, poly(styrene -co-(trimethoxysilyl) propyl methacrylate (TMSPM))-grafted ethylene-alt-tetrafluoroethylene (ETFE) membrane (ETFE-g-PS/TMSPM) was prepared by a simultaneous irradiation grafting of styrene and TMSPM onto ETFE film. Sol-gel method and sulfonation were then performed on the ETFE-g-PS/TMSPM films to give them crosslinks and proton conductibility, respectively. To confirm the effect of the crosslinker in ETFE-g-PSSA/TMSPM, we investigated fundamental properties of the prepared fuel cell membrane such as ion exchanging capacity (IEC), water uptake (WU), dimensional stability, proton conductivity, chemical stability, and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). |
