제목 FLEXIBLE ELECTROCHROMIC DISPLAY USING IN-SITU POLYMERIZED PEDOT FILM
초록 Electrochromic devices utilizing conjugated polymers as electrochromic layers have gained increasing attention owing to their optical properties, fast switching times and contrast ratios. Poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) (PEDOT) is an excellent material from its electrochromic properties, high conductivity and high stability in the doped form. Electrochemical reactivity of the chemically polymerized PEDOT film was confirmed by cyclic voltammetry. Electrochromic cell was fabricated using PEDOT as electrochromic layer, where ITO-coated PET film was used as the electrode. The electrochromic cell showed the transmittance increase by 70% at 640 nm when PEDOT film was electrochemically reduced.
