Morphology control of a metal-organic framework material, Cu-BTC: syntheses under various conditions |
초록 |
Metal-organic framework (MOF) materials have received considerable attention in the recent years due to high porosity and rational design. Cu-BTC [Cu3(BTC)2(H2O)3] composed of copper and BTC (benzene tricarboxylate) is one of the well-known MOF material. The size and morphology control of MOF crystals is important for diffusion, adsorption, catalysis, membrane, etc.In this study, Cu-BTC has been synthesized under various conditions including conventional electric heating, microwave heating, ultra-sonic treatment and refluxing under ambient pressure. Moreover, the reaction temperature and solvent concentration have been changed. From the study, Cu-BTC can be obtained with various sizes and morphologies. |
